FLOWER FIELD

Our Flower Field

We grow hundreds of varieties of specialty cut flowers in our acre plus flower field, May - October. With grass paths and a pastoral setting, our flower field is peaceful and serene, a beautiful place to experience nature up close. Our east-west facing flower field is surrounded by woods, a creek, and fields, and offers wide vistas of the surrounding countryside. With no homes (other than the farmhouse) visible, it is a stunning place to experience in person. We value and celebrate the beauty of the flower field, and strive to keep it as natural and as stunning as possible.

Because we value and appreciate our pollinators and insect friends, so we grow flowers naturally, chemical-free. We use integrated pest management practices and natural products like fish emulsion (yes, it smells bad!) to help us grow beautiful, long-lasting flowers that are safe for you and your family.

Our Flowers

We grow seasonal, cut flowers. This means our flower offerings change as the season progresses; we celebrate and love this ever-changing offering of flowers! We grow cut flowers, not plugs or houseplants, and we prioritize flowers that are locally-grown specialties, unique, and long-lasting. Cut flowers typically last in the vase 5-10 days, and longer, if cared for appropriately.
