Where and how to Find our Flowers

We grow EVERYTHING we sell! We have numerous products for sale throughout the season (June - October) in the following ways:

At the Kankakee Farmers’ Market

We are vendors at the Kankakee Farmers’ Market in downtown Kankakee at the intersection of S. Schuyler Ave. and Merchant St. in downtown Kankakee. The market runs every Saturday from 8 am - 12 pm through Saturday, October 26th. The products that we will have for sale varies with the time of the season, so come by and see us regularly!

Right now, we are bringing market bundles of assorted flowers, arranged bouquets and designs, and buckets of the most beautiful and unique sunflowers. These aren’t your average grocery store flowers! Come out and see the local difference.

By Special Order

With our growing experience and Katie’s certification in floral design, we are happy to grow and arrange flowers for whatever occasion you are celebrating, be that weddings (see the Wedding page for more details), showers, parties, sympathy or celebration or life flowers, anniversaries, birthdays, thank you flowers, or just because flowers! We will work with you to design and deliver the perfect flowers for your needs.

Field You-Pick Events

Are you interested in local, fresh flowers but want the fun of harvesting them yourself? We can help with that! We are happy to offer multiple ‘you-pick’ events this year where we welcome the general public to the field to pick their own flowers. Pricing will be charged by stem, per variety.

2019 ‘you-pick’ events include:

  • Friday, August 9th from 5 pm - 8 pm

  • Wednesday, September 25th from 5 pm - 7 pm

  • Pre-frost (as the weather dictates, October)

Want to arrange an event in the field for a private group? Contact us to set something up.

At the Launching Pad!

Starting Friday, July 26th and running through the first frost, Proclamation Flowers and the Launching Pad on Route 66 in Wilmington (Baltimore Street) are partnering to make your Friday date nights even more special. Stop by the Pad for a delicious dinner and you or your honey will get a mini bouquet of local flowers grown and arranged by Proclamation Flowers. It’s a fun way to have a nice night out while supporting two local businesses at once!

At the Wilmington Wine Cafe: Wine and Design Proclamation Flowers Event

Come out and join us for a fun night, Tuesday, September 17th of designing your own bouquet of Proclamation Flowers blooms! We will harvest and prep our gorgeous, locally grown flowers, and then let you select the stems you want and help you arrange them. $35 will cover the flowers, arranging demonstration PLUS appetizers and your first glass of wine. You can reserve your spot now by contacting the Wine Cafe. Space is limited. If there’s enough interest, we will open up a second night for wine and flowers. Does it get any better?

Field Photo Shoots

The flower field is pretty amazing, in our opinion, and it makes an excellent backdrop for photo shoots. If you are interested in taking pictures (professional or otherwise) in the field, please contact us! We charge a small field location fee to help cover our time and wear on the field, but we’d be happy to make something work. Professional photographers: we can set up a field photo night, if you’d like to do mini-sessions or a longer session with a client.

Please note: this is a working flower farm, so this location is not recommended for newborns or very small infants. Pets are not allowed. Production in the field occurs from June through frost. Peak blooms times are in in August and September.
